I was looking through my old but treasured hardcover copy of "THE COMPLETE ADVENTURES OF PETER RABBIT AND FRIENDS - The only original and authorized edition", and I remember as a little girl thinking "i wish i had peter rabbit's clothes-i don't understand why he just leaves it on the fence!". And I thought the same thought again in 2009! Here's an outfit i put together that can double as a an outfit for a nice spring day OR for a peter rabbit halloween costume. wawoo.

the jeans are costume national by the way. what a great rusty find.

Another great fashion picture from "The Complete Adventures" comes from the fabulous frog, Jeremy Fisher. it definitely sounds like a sporty type name. derek jeter, reggie bush, jeremy fisher. it blends right in!
/////////anyway. peter rabbit is classic whereas these two, jeremy and his dinner party friend Sir Isaac Newton are big trendy bendys.
Jeremy Fisher (remember, he's the frog) has legs that look like missoni's prefall very graphic leggings. his floral top is definitely a katemoss x liberty collab for top shop and his rings are very mary kate olsen. Sir Isaac Newton is a raiding sparkler in his harem pants, very 80's throwback leopard shirt, super great high shouldered jacket wonder and oh!!! is that a pucci scarf he's wearing?! his outfit is super out there which i give points for but hope that i never see anyone in real life wearing his combo.
