++ sushi family express!!!

mmm my bff anne (she's got a blog all-sew!) has been nagging (4 forever) about going out and eating sushi. and soo... I went with her. We found this hole in the wall in Flushing, NY through the help of yelp. IT WAS GREAT. great location. great prices. great size (THEY WERE HUGE).
anne got the amazing looking 'rock and roll' roll, I got the 'k-brian' roll (which we're sure was named after the owner's son as most family owned restaurants like/tend to do...) and we both got one piece of octopus (tako) sashimi and one piece of squid (ika) sashimi.

and after, we went to "hong kong supermarket" and looked at the candied goodies. where the shelves look like this!
